About the Galilean
Who are we? We are a church family that is open to all people who accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Our Lutheran theology is based on a simple concept that we are saved from our sins by God’s free grace through our faith. The word of God, the sacrament of baptism and the Lord’s Supper are the center of our worship as the people of God.
What is a “church family?” We invite you to talk to anyone at the Galilean. Our church can become an extension of your family. We truly care about one another and strive to be there when one of us is in need.
What do we do? Actions do speak louder than words! The Galilean is committed to both its members and its community. Whether it’s through our outreach activities at Emily Watkins Elementary School, the St. John Ministry of Care, our Annual Community Trunk or Treat Event, or numerous ongoing outreach projects, you are sure to find a way to get involved at the Galilean.
When do we worship? Our worship service is held at 10:00 AM every Sunday. We also hold special worship services during lent and advent.
